My understanding of RESET and how we apply it in our daily life

0

When I first met with Kiran’s new RESET theory I immediately felt that it is another key concept (together with the DLE) to a happy, intense and purposeful life. For me the RESET is a consciously chosen activity, which can release our stucknesses and fears – brings some more DLE and challenge to our daily life, helps in our self development and to live in the NOW.

People love security, comfortable and easy solutions without any great effort, the unchangingness, because any unknown strengthens our fears. To avoid these unpleasant things we build up our habits which will kill all the DLE and our freedom. My favorite writer: Paulo Coelho wrote the following about people who don’t have any RESET :

“Slaves to the luxury, to the appearance of luxury. Slaves to a life they had not chosen, but which they had decided to live because someone had managed to convince them that it was all for the best. And so their identical days and night passed, days and nights in which adventure was just a word in a book or an image on the television that was always on, and whenever a door opened, they would say: ” I’m not interested. I’m not in the mood.” How could they possible know if they were in the mood or not if they had never tried? But there was no point in asking, the truth was they were afraid of any change that would upset the world they had grown used to.”

The first, major RESET in my life happened 4 years ago, when I decided to quit immediately my well paid manager job without any plan for the future, jumping into the unknown with my newly bought CoRe system. All of my friends and colleagues thought that I went crazy… But this was the best decision in my life giving me much more freedom, happiness and great possibility for development.

Of course there are much more small RESET in our life. Everybody should find his own “personal” RESET method – we found ours in the different physical activities in the Mother Nature. Together with my wife Agnes we love hiking, backpacking in the mountains, visiting strange places which seems quite dangerous to our friends: wilderness above the Arctic Circle, rock climbing, high mountains with foul weather, places 100 km away from any civilization. Maybe it seems to be a struggling and nonsense but we enjoy these adventures with full of DLE, the unknown and sometime risks…

RESET in progress

Our next RESET adventure idea comes completely accidentally and we never consider the rightness of it, never hesitate about it. Do you need some inspiration to find your RESET action?

Our next RESETs will be:
1. A 10 days vipassana meditation course  – totally separated from the outside world, sitting alone in a total silence, meditating 10 hours a day… wake up at 4 am, eating only twice a day some vegetarian food and learning to see things as they really are. http://www.dhamma.org/
2. Crossing Scotland coast to coast within 2 weeks  through the challenging Scottish mountains with a backpack and tent. We will be the first ever Challengers from Hungary on this great, 30 years old outdoor event in the UK. http://www.tgochallenge.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/aboutthechallenge.htm

Find your own RESET and practice it when you need some extra DLE! Don’t be a person, like these:

“I knew many people who had ceased to live, even though they continued to work and eat and engage in their usual social activities. They did everything automatically, oblivious to the magic moment that each day brings with it, never stopping to think about the miracle of life, never understanding that the next minute could be their last on the face of this planet. ” P. Coelho
