- What is an Even Ego?
- What has Even Ego to do with Trigender and Leonardo da Vinci?
- How can give an Even Ego great security?
- How does the environment perceive an Even Ego?
- For and Even Ego the Present is not more important than the past or future
The name “Even Ego” is a good name that describes the very essence of that Ego that is either the result of a collapse, the polishing process of a spiritual tradition or just life itself. All parts of the informational matrix are more even, more leveled there are less mountains of energy on certain ideas and less valleys of disinterest.
It does not mean that there are no strong attractors any more but that attractors in the various areas of life a more or less equally strong. The various techniques that have the goal to create Non-Attachment often only create people that are gray and not interested in anything any more or have an excessive pre-occupation with chastity, solitude or poverty.
This opposite was the ideal of the Renaissance man, to promote a culture that would make it more natural and common for man like Leonardo da Vinci to exist who were equally interested all aspects of life as in Science, Art, Spirituality, Nature, Invention.
Even more than being equally interested in fields of knowledge Leonardo was equally interested in male and female “Leonardo’s own sexuality appears to transcend gender, to slip into godlike fantasies of androgynous liaisons between worlds. His Virgin of the Rocks includes an angel whose gender it is impossible to determine. No other Renaissance artist was as preoccupied with androgyny “
Leonardo is generally mislabeled as gay whereas androgyny or Trigender http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trigender is a much better but non-understood label.
The pre-occupation with being male or female builds predominant attractors for most people and makes it the central aspect of their sense of self. Polarity is the driving force for creativity and therefor Androgyny does not mean to be genderless, like in all other polarities in our life the solution is not just to be one or the other polarity as for example Hetero or Homo but to blend them into a new union that is not just a mix of both.
Going into a monastery or becoming a vegetarian will just strengthen one polarity, one attractor and this is the Ego, whereas alternation between the polarities will, being in a state of DLE between the polarities.
When the Ego is Even there is something that inspires you in every direction you look, because you are no longer limited to certain things that might be around at the moment or not.
You are not easily fighting for things, taking the side of one or another – one is not much more important than another and if one turns out one is lost or found to be of not much value there is hardly much lost as your life is so abundant with values.
Life becomes more that of a child where you can be laughing about little things and where little things can make you cry. Where everything attracts you, when the moment is right and where you can pass it bye without a look if something else is more right just then.
You are not impressible by titles, authorities, riches, the latest events as you feel connected to so much equally and in this connection your attention is not easily absorbed by the little news of the moment.
The environment does not necessarily have an easy time with a being that has an Even Ego. Regular interaction his highly ruled by conventions of society of what is appropriate and what is not. To embed these cultural programs into everyone many pressures are built into any educational system which create very heavily energy loaded information and thus Ego parts.
For someone with an Even Ego these do not exist as guides for behaviour and therefore at times he may appear rude, obscene, childish, irreverent, vain, egoistic as society has set limits for all these aspects in how far they are tolerable to be displayed in public. Many hide the actual degree but for a person with an Even Ego there is no difference between public and private life.
For the Even Ego also the polarities of time have evened out it does not give more importance to the past, as for example in Nostalgia or expectations in the future and it is not absorbed by the Present Moment – its latest news, the SMS that came in right now, the slander that someone is spreading, the deadline that someone has set, the concern or the pleasure of the moment.
This is expressed poetically by T.S.Eliot
- Time present and time past
Are both perhaps present in time future
And time future contained in time past.
- What might have been and what has been
Point to one end, which is always present.
Footfalls echo in the memory
Down the passage which we did not take
Towards the door we never opened
Into the rose-garden. My words echo
Thus, in your mind.
But to what purpose
Disturbing the dust on a bowl of rose-leaves
I do not know.
- Go, said the bird, for the leaves were full of children,
Hidden excitedly, containing laughter.
Go, go, go, said the bird: human kind
Cannot bear very much reality.
Time past and time future
What might have been and what has been
Point to one end, which is always present.
- At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is,
But neither arrest nor movement.
And do not call it fixity,
Where past and future are gathered. Neither movement from nor towards,
Neither ascent nor decline. Except for the point, the still point,
There would be no dance, and there is only the dance.
I can only say, there we have been: but I cannot say where
And I cannot say, how long, for that is to place it in time.
- Time past and time future
Allow but a little consciousness.
To be conscious is not to be in time
But only in time can the moment in the rose-garden,
The moment in the arbor where the rain beat,
The moment in the draughty church at smokefall
Be remembered; involved with past and future.
Only through time is conquered.
- Words move, music moves
Only in time; but that which is only living
Can only die. Words, after speech, reach
Into the silence.
- Or say that the end precedes the beginning,
And the end and the beginning were always there
Before the beginning and after the end.
And all is always now. Words strain,
Crack and sometimes break, under the burden,
Under the tension, slip, slide, perish,
Will not stay still.
- Desire itself is movement
Not in itself desirable;
Love is itself unmoving,
Only the cause and end of movement,
Timeless, and undesiring
Except in the aspect of time
Caught in the form of limitation
Between un-being and being.
And here is how Hafiz describes it :
THROW ME ON A SCALE – Everything is now the same to me.
Today love has completely gutted me.
I am lying in the market like a
Speechless, Every desire and sinew absolutely silent
But I am still so fresh.
Everything is now the same to me.
The touch of a beautiful woman
As she lifts me near,
Drawing my scent
into her body;
She thinks about taking me home.
The touch of a wondrous fly
Drinking my vital fluids
Through a strange shaped flute,
The sun laying its radiant gaze against my cheek,
Human voices and the
breeze from a passing
All send miraculous currents into
God’s beauty has split me wide open.
Throw Hafiz on a scale,
Wrap me in cloth,
Bring me home.
Lift a piece of my knowledge to your lips
So I can melt inside of you
