During my presentation at the AIM training in Brazil, I spoke about the way the work of Antoine Bovis has been misused by many hundred of thousands of “Would be” radiaesthesists and/or practitioners. Afterwards many people asked me to repeat the Bovis-story, and so I decided to make a post of it.

Antoine Bovis was a French wine taster, who felt there was a correlation between the colour of wine and the taste of it. Together with his friend Simoneton he developed a measuring scale (The Biometer), based upon wavelengthe in Angström (0,1nm), he detected with his pendulum. He found that a colour corresponding to a wavelength of 6000 A, had the right taste.

It took not long before others started using the Biometer to measure the Energy of food, drinks, crops, animals, farmland an even houses. They considered that 6000 Bovis was a neutral value, and that anything below 6000 was bad, and all above 6000 was good. The most crazy and stupid theories were developed, and the radiaesthesists used their pendulums and tensors to look for emanations above 6000 Bovis because here people could receive Energy…the thousands of WebPages and the hundreds of books proclaim the most unbelievable stories, all based on a WRONG interpretation of Antoine Bovis’ work….

Bovis didn’t measure energy! He measured a wavelength, that’s all. This is far away of energy measurements. Let’s take following example:

The wavelength of red light is: λ = c/f = 780 nm

The speed of light is: c = 300.000 km/s

The frequency of red light is: f = c/λ = 3 108 m/s : 780.10-9 m = 3,85.1014 Hz

Planck’s constant is: h = 6,625.10-34 Ws²

So the energy of red light is: E = h.f = 6,625.10-34 Ws² . 3,85.1014 /s = 2,55.10-19 J

We clearly see that if the Wavelength increases the Energy decreases.

So where are all the power places gone now?

I’m not saying that there are no power places, but certainly not ones measured with high Bovis units…

“The new/old area of subtle materialism”

In this youtube video Charles Tart celebrates his 201 st publication ”The end of materialism” as he says his “Magnus Opus” on which he has researched for 50 and written for 3 years.

The main example that he quotes in this first part is an experiment of a Hungarian man who snipped off the skin of mice, then put them in paper bags and proved that holding these paper bags in his had would heal the wounds quicker then without …… listen and wonder this happened about 100 years ago.

Charles I want to suggest you to leave your book-filled dusty library and go out to the hundreds of touch-for-health healers in  your own city and speak with them and observe their work.

What a poor situation for you and ISSSEEM that you have to use such outdated material in your Magnus opus and present this as an outstanding part of it.

But besides the fact of the dustiness of this material I am want to use this as a very good example that many of us still struggle with. Non-materialism or even spirituality does not mean that one believes/ accepts/ researches the possible existence of forces and energy that are not conventionally excepted/ measurable….. like the example Charles gives with a sensation of warmth between two close hands.

If this would be the definition of “beyond materialism” or even “spirituality” the researchers at the CERN Hadron-collider would have to be considered spiritual as the Hadrons they are looking for are certainly as invisible/ subtle/ hard to measure as the effect that creates the sense of heat between two hands.

Non-materialism is not about invisible matter or energy it is about the way that materialistic science tries to set up experiments. Generally by taking out the “subjective” human element. You call this experiment “a first class example” because he uses mice that are not as “suggestible” as humans…… but how about the healer himself…. why not go one step further and train mice in ”lying-on of hands” then we would have really had taken out this  ”unpredictable” human element and made it not only a “First class experiment” in your sense but a 100% materialistic one (if we want to consider mice as material…. as at least he treats them as material).

“Going beyond Materialism” means in fact to get the human element with its imagination, individuality, unpredictability, DLE back into the  picture and to develop new ways of designing experiments and not simply searching for more subtle matter.

Road to nowhere

According to almost all publications in this field of research, the Hadron Collider was one of the biggest news stories of 2009. Unfortunately, there are plans for other types of accelerators which might make such a massive machine completely obsolete.
The Large Hadron Collider is a massive, 27-kilometer wide machine, which uses electromagnets to slowly ramp a proton beam up to high energies and speeds, then collides it together with another beam. The scale of the device is immense and a large reason why it costs 9 billion US$ (before the recent repair bill, for fixing the problems that arose shortly after start-up).
One problem with devices like this is that each of them is essentially its own prototype. Particle accelerators are not devices which can be mass produced … or are they?
Another waste of money, time and insights, caused by scientists and their worship of science as if it would be a god in itself, blind following the wrong path, leading to nowhere….

with some famous names…. so there cannot be any doubt that the author talks about something significant.

The Hadron Collider in CERN the biggest and most expensive machine ever built by man.... takes about 1 year to cool down close to absolute ZERO - 273 Kelvin and is based on the naive idea that there is a smallest particle that explains EVERYTHING and that it can be found

After Proton and Photon-mechanics, Quantum and Quark-mechanics now that they postulate an even

more fundamental particle the Hadron.

Now the best joke….. this time someone comes up with the mechanics of something

that has not even been confirmed to exist ….. Hadron-Mechanics

Few see that this is not something new but a desperate attempt to hold on to the concept of MECHANICS…. what Newton  started with

his mechanics of the celestial bodies and his idea of a CLOCKWORK-mechanics does not die out….. now the mix in the word

“Information” …. a bit …. without connection as they can feel something new is coming.

Different to all of these people who put their simple ideas in complicated mathematical language because they know then nobody

can see that their theories does not hold water ….. or put it in pseudo scientific chargo like

I show with the simple concept of  DLE how to transform your life, how to see the common aspect in most healing modalities,

how to explain why random and coincidence are meaningful, how to perceive why coincidence-recognition is the missing link today,

how to connect to the informational matrix, how to assess the degree of sickness of a person or culture and so on and on…..

Just one more about the text above …. the other word that is repeated even SEVEN times  is “ontological” and this is certainly a new pillar of the

new science coming up.  Wikipedia as usual does not take any standpoint (which is important to be so popular) and defining :

For me an Ontological view means to see the world not from a CAUSE & EFFECT point of view but from a EFFECT & PURPOSE/MEANING

I am interesting  in your system but I’d like to ask a technical question.
My question concerns the Resonant Information Transfer Unit Plus (RITU-Plus – Imprint Tray Plus)
A bioélectronician who  manufactures a simple and modest Electroacupuncture device , explained me that to properly register the signal frequency energy of a substance it is imperative to have a magnetic well- room and a treatment algorithm for filter all parasitical frequencies,  electromagnetically polluted environment to recover the original signal of the analyte.
And the noise and electromagnetic pollution is nor static variable therefore a simple predefined filter is not valid and therefore must be able to correct each and therefore have a suitable electronic device.
Through systematic experimentation, he found that a simple metallic  plate recorded all the parasitical frequencies and with signal frequency of the analyte which is completely submerged.
It seems the only one on the device market bio energy have made the process of integrating a magnetic well-room instead of a simple metallic plate.

For your product,Resonant Information Transfer Unit Plus (RITU-Plus – Imprint Tray Plus), there is no magnetic well-room that can partially protect the analyte,  i see that it is simply a plate.

As you are a physicist by training, you very well this issue quite basic.
I would like if you post this problem, the problem of measurement error.
Either have you done  as many other designers, put a simple plate, nothing more or you have a system to filter parasitical frequencies. ?

If you have making a system for filter, isn’t it  more simple and more efficient   to have a magnetic room ?

the simple truth that every one in physics would know that NO substance emits frequencies except “Radio-active” substances …. all others don’t

No measuring techinque is more developed than that of electromagnetic radiation ..... certainly science would have discovered those imaginary substance-frequencies that radionic want-to-be scientist say have found in any substance

And he is right that  you would just record the local radio, handy and TV stations if you don’t do it in a fully insulated room

But all companies that were telling everyone for one century that they recorded frequencies within a simple container that HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE SUBSTANCE were lying and found many willing believers.

We again make a completely new step and we call it “Resonant INFORMATION transfer unit” because it is not an ENERGY-TRANSFER but an Information transfer and this works on a completely different basis.  But I guess the believers in Frequencies first will have to die out before it will be a common understanding that the key element in healing as in everything  else in our world is not ENERGY but INFORMATION

Also the fact that all other systems use only one plate shows to anyone with only a minimum of physics understanding, that here NO ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD can be created, at least not in the sub-radio range in which all systems operate (but of course they will continue to pretend otherwise)

Concepts that I discuss in my seminars, that are the basis of a new science of Informational Medicine as DLE, Hologram, Reset, Infinite loops, Aim, Excess Potential, Informational Matrix a.s.o. and this document that she included was from Shri Chinmoy, I will only include one quote :

“Ignorance or darkness comes and stands in front of us in the form of temptation. But light does not do this. Light comes and stands in front of us in the form of absolute oneness. Light says, “You and I are one,” while darkness says, “No, you and I are two.”

Sounds good but is nonsense and has a good chance to be informational poison. All religions are petrified relics of their founders and what then was a living moving, changing way, full of DLE has become a purely informational attempt to convey the “ unspeakable” in words or ritual. As all dying and disease process is indicated by decreasing DLE, these words and rituals were stripped of their life by filtering out any possible polarity/ contradiction they might provoke. One of the two sides was sanctified while the other was debased / marked as a sin or something to fear and run away from. Most churches and preachers owe their power only on inventing more and more divisions and intellectual concepts that are presented to their sheep as a way to discriminate the GOOD from the BAD, to give the illusion of certainty. (because DLE is so uncomfortable ).

As Shri Chinmoy did in the above quote, Light is often sold as the GOOD and Darkness as the BAD. I wonder how many people are afraid of darkness because they have learned form their parents or a former life that darkness is a very bad/ dangerous/ sinister thing. How many people assume that waking up at night is a BAD thing because night is not a good time to do anything (coincidently it is now about 2 am that I am writing this, as I have no averseness against nights anymore). Considering sleeplessness a very BAD thing that has to be counteracted with sleeping pills, just as sleepiness during the day also has to be remedied with some pills. (Cleverly the Pharma industry has most adds for sleeping pills during the night programs).

Does this make sense ? And is this giving you a new idea about the real danger of “Sleeplessness” ? This is only one example of the many possible disease creating aspects of pseudo-spirituality. At the base there is the misconception that doubt/ questioning/ temptation is a BAD thing, that it is a sign of incompleteness/ far from god/ tempted-by-the-devil and as a result we are madly in love with CERTAINTY/ SECURITY and it is so funny to see most scientists today who are so eager to get away from all this “religious stuff” to just revive the old mistakes under new names. They are not searching for ABSOLUTE spiritual truth but for ABSOLUTE scientific truth, not seeing that the very basis is corrupted, the believe / hope / valuation of the ABSOLUTE as the highest GOOD.

Interestingly the ISSSEEM www.issseem.orgthe largest organization for the research of subtle energy in the USA has as their topic for next years conference “evidence based spirituality” www.issseem.org/loi.cfm. This is really a new move as until now they had focused on staying close to physics terminology with energy/ frequency/ quantum concepts. There are more and more people that can feel that “spirituality is the key” but are afraid in drifting into one of the many obviously (to the outsider) misleading directions of pseudo-spirituality.

The mistake that ISSSEEM makes is to think/ believe/ not question that the great advantage of science was to put much importance on EVIDENCE / hard and clear facts/ unmistakable proof whereas religion got us all into trouble because of its trust in subjective believe. The mistake that religion made is that of every aging organism, to put every temptation / question into the BAD category (even in the Lords prayer they put this absurd request “Lord lead us not in temptation”) . Science on the other hand is considered objective and open-for-change if new evidence presents itself. This quality is considered to be the reason for the astonishing, amazing new things that science has made possible for humanity. However Science as a whole is just as open-to-change as any other old institution, it is opposed to any major change. The quality that has made science what is now was always been the result of some individuals who were open to experiment/ to question/ to re-consider ideas that most would consider self-evident/ certain / hard and clear fact.

Science has become the religion of today and to believe in its statements is common worship. In the last month some people had forged a statement from WHO World Health Organization scientists that warned about the danger of Homeopathy and as a result all major leading news papers in the world even the BBC printed headlines like “Homeopathy – DANGEROUS” …. this is only another sign how much scientists have taken the role of priests.

The issue is not in the “looking for evidence” but the problem is in “considering something evident” / certain / proven fact that applies to all situations and all individuals. The equal sign in mathematics for example, that seems so self-evident to us was not necessary or even considered desirable in former cultures, There all was considered RELATIVE and some traces are still left in the British measuring system with feet, inches, and miles, where all was referred to the length of the average foot. All physical equations hide the “constant of proportionality” and the basic mistake that science has made was to assume that these “convenient” CONSTANTS do in fact exist in nature and do not change with time and circumstances. The Hadron collider in Cern is the latest monument to the desperate attempt in science to reach CERTAINTY / the basic unchangeable building blocks of existence .

From this long discourse coming back to the quote from Shri Chinmoy above: Light says, “You and I are one,” while darkness says, “No, you and I are two “ Strange where he got this idea, because obviously it is light that creates division whereas at night “all cats are black” and that is why we dim the light at an intimate dinner to allow more ONENESS. The main and common mistake he and so many before him have made was to give something, in this case “light” the quality GOOD / divine and others, here it is “darkness” the mark BAD/ dangerous/ dark.

The imaginary triumph of Light over Darkness

Dividing / comparing is necessary on the informational level but the spiritual level is beyond / complementary to it. Many teachers have said that the moment where you conceptionalize / divide the spiritual realm/ God/ the Tao/ the ABSOLUTE you do loose it. ABSOUTE needs and means ONENESS because wherever there are two things there is relativity, therefore you cannot “think yourself” into ONENESS but you have to give up/ transform concepts to merge into this ONENESS.

I want to leave this spiritual aspect for another time but here it is to explain two things :

1. Our desperate religious and scientific search for CERTAINTY/ absolute standards/ constants/ evidence/ hard facts is really an expression of search for ONENESS

2. Paradoxically all these forms of search put so much emphasis on dividing/ conceptionalizing/ polarizing that they get more away from the ONENESS that they actually are looking for.

So what is the way out of this dilemma ? The world of information is a necessary part of our life and the idea that we can eventually escape from it when we are enlightened is just another one of these delusions. Some go so far to promote that a “quiet mind” is the solution and a busy mind is BAD and is our real problem.

Our dilemma is our desperate attempt to get the dilemma/ uncertainty/ doubt/ temptation out of our life while we don’t see that it is that which is creating the actual misery and is getting us further and further away from the ONENESS the EVIDENCE and the SCIENTIFIC TRUTH that we are looking for. To understand the need for DLE in our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual world to see that LIGHT and DARKNESS are two important and equally GOOD informational concepts. That we have to live them with equal acceptance (just like hundreds of other dualities) on all levels physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, to have optimum physical health, emotional health, mental health and spiritual health. The moment where we stigmatize one polarity and exclude it from our life …. aging starts and death eventually follows. The practical question remains “How to find the polarities that we have lost/ forgotten/ stigmatized/ got-rid-off and how to bring it back into our life ?” I imagine by now you can guess THEE answer or at least one of THEM.
